Course content
1. Cell - structure, function of organelles, cell division. Tissues: epithelial, connective, muscle and nerve. 2. Skeletal system - the shape, surface, internal structure, growth and development, bone connections. skeleton of the torso (spine, chest), skull bone, upper and lower extremities skeleton. 3. Muscular system - structure, composition and properties of skeletal muscles. Description of major muscle groups. 4. Blood - quantity, composition and functions of blood. The heart - shape, structure and activity. Blood vessels - structure (arteries, capillaries, veins). The heart - greater and lesser blood circulation. 5. Lymphatic system. 6. Respiratory system - external and internal respiration, nose, nasal cavity, larynx, trachea, lungs. 7. Digestive system - oral cavity, pharynx, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, pancreas, liver. 8. Excretory system - kidneys, urinary tract. 9. Cutaneous system - skin structure, additional skin formations, body temperature and its control. 10. Visual system - eye structure, additional eye organs. Organs of hearing and static equilibrium. Cutaneous sense organs (cold, heat, pressure, pain), gustatory and olfactory organs. 11. Nervous system - division, structure, nerve cells and the reflex arch. 12.Nervous system - the dorsal spinal cord, medulla oblongata, pons Varolii, cerebellum, midbrain. Nervous system - Diencephalon, Cerebrum. 13. Peripheral nerves - Cranial nerves. Peripheral nerves - spinal nerves and vegetative nerves. 14. Glands with internal secretion. 15. Male genital tract. Female genital tract.

Learning outcomes
Child Biology and Hygiene 2 covers anatomy and physiology of individual organ systems of the human body. The aim of the discipline is also to provide students with a set of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, the knowledge of which is essential for provision of premedical first aid.
The content of the course builds on the basic knowledge of the subject of biology at secondary schools about the structure of the human body and assumes knowledge of terminology secondary human biology.

Basic requirements: - active participation in the seminar - 80% attendance of the seminar - elaboration of seminar thesis on a selected topic - elaboration of seminar thesis and seminar attendance are prerequisites for acquiring credits - credits acquisition is a prerequisite for exam registration
