Learning outcomes
Introductory lectures and seminars are designed as repetitorium basic pathophysiologic conditions. Other lectures and seminars on pediatrics focus on essential information on diseases of school children and their prevention, taking into account the needs of teachers.
After completing the course, students should be able to: - Characterize peculiarities of the most common health problems of the child's age - Identify the most common symptoms of childhood diseases - Understand the principles of pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment of childhood diseases - Understand and be able to apply basic knowledge of the epidemiology of infectious diseases - Respond correctly for selected acute conditions in children.
Prerequisites
The student know biology of children.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Seminar Work

Ability to work independently with data and printed sources, on-line connection. Creating of a single term paper.
