Traffic education through selected education categories. The issue of traffic education. Act No. 361/2000 Coll. Traffic Accidents and Their Causes. Age idiosyncrasies in children. Paradigm of the behaviour of traffic participants. Causes of improper conduct and behaviour by traffic participants. Didactics of traffic education for teachers. Division of traffic education by grades. Technical conditions of safe traffic. An assumption of safe behaviour on roads. Organization of traffic education in primary schools. Organization of traffic educational events.

After passing this course students should be able to: - define the term of traffic education, - analyse the pedagogical-psychological problematics of traffic education, - describe the systems of traffic education and explain their inspirational evaluation for the Czech Republic, - characterize the basic issues concerning traffic control, - select the crucial information in law no. 361/2000 Sb. about road traffic, - formulate traffic safety and the term "Road traffic safety", - name traffic accidents and know their cause - apply the information acquired while teaching this subject at elementary schools with cross-curricular approaches
To be acquainted with law no. 361/2000 Sb. about road traffic as last amended; to apply the knowledge and skills concerning "Traffic safety" from the teacher's and pupil's point of view; the knowledge of traffic accident causes and their precautions. |

Full-time study: written (colloquium), self-study - preparation for colloquium. Combined type of study: written (colloquium), tutorial attendance, study support, self-study - preparation for colloquium. Requirements for students with an Individual Study Plan (ISP): same conditions + participation in a combined course of study. |
