Lifestyle risk factors. Prevention of diabetes mellitus. Prevention of diseases of the musculoskeletal system. Prevention of asthma and allergies. Prevention of tumour diseases. Prevention of cardiovascular diseases. Prevention of dental caries. Nursing for diabetes patients. Incorrect posture in children. Allergic diseases in the child population in the Czech Republic. Professional bronchial asthma- Topics for self-study: European code against cancer Prevention of tumour diseases in primary care. Recommendations to reduce the risk of tumour diseases. Learning outcomes
|
Upon completion of the course the students will be able to: - Define the basic lifestyle risk factors, - Describe the etiopathogenesis and therapy for non-communicable diseases (myocardial infarction, stroke, hypertension, metabolic syndrome, diabetes mellitus type II, obesity, selected malignant tumours, etc.), - Describe preventive measures of selected non-communicable diseases, - Explain the principle of preventive measures, - Apply various preventive measures in practice.
