1st Anthropology as a science of man. 2. Cells and tissues. 3rd Anatomy and physiology of human organ systems. 4th ontogenetic development of man. 5. Human population.

Learning outcomes
|
After completing the course, students should be able to: - define the basic anatomical terms, eg. the skeleton, heart, stomach etc., - clarify relationships between individual organ systems of the human body, - explain the importance of the importance of metabolism for healthy growth and development of the individual, - assess the quality of information sources related to human biology.
Orientation in human biology at least secondary level.

Prerequisites
|
The course introduces the basic questions of human biological nature, dealing with the various organ systems of humans and discusses selected topics in the study of man.
