Course content
1. School and its transformations at present. Transformation of Czech education after 1989. School system in the Czech Republic. Education legislation (Education Act, Education Act) staff, Teachers regulations, school documentation). Focused documents on the rights of the child (Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948), Declaration of the Rights of the Child (1959), Convention on the Rights of the Child (1989). Development and current system of school administration in the Czech Republic. 2. School as a place of personal, social and cognitive development of pupils. Personality pupil development as a part of curriculum in school education at primary school. Intellectual, moral, aesthetic, work and physical aspects of pupil personality development. Social coexistence in the class - its forms and possibilities of influencing. Class management. Methods educational effect. Standards of behavior. School rules. Possibilities and limits of democracy in education. Prevention of educational conflicts. 3. Content of education in primary school. External and internal school reform. National curriculum and educational standards. Curricular reform: curriculum, standards, educational programs. Teacher's work with educational curriculum. Framework educational program for basic education. School educational program, its creation. Choice and structure of educational content. Basic curriculum. Curriculum, curriculum, textbooks. 4. The process of education in primary school. The role of educational process in primary school. Management of this process, its design and process. Stage educationally educational process. Learning styles and types. Traditional teaching models and their innovation. Dominants of the teaching process: activity, autonomy, creativity. 5. Didactic principles and didactic methods in primary school. P 6. Organizational forms of teaching in primary school. 7. Educational evaluation and its principles. 8. Pedagogical diagnostics in primary school. 9. Teacher's preparation for teaching in a fully organized and small-class school. 10. Pupil at the beginning of school. Psychological issues of child readiness for entry to school. 11. Pupil in educational process. Education in relation to the developmental stage younger school age. Characteristics of the developmental stage of a younger school age pupil, its age and individual traits. 12. Primary school teacher. Requirements and prerequisites of the teaching profession. Educational communication and its importance for increasing the effectiveness of education. 14. Work of primary school teacher with pupils with specific learning and behavior disorders. 15. Learning outcomes
The main aim of the course is to acquire knowledge in the field of primary education at primary school.
Upon completion of the course, students will gain knowledge and are able to theoretically and practically orientate themselves in the problems of pedagogy of primary school pupils.
