Course content
Game performance in a match. Diagnostics of game performance in a match. Diagnostics of a training unit. Preparation for a training unit. Modern trends in research aimed at handball and sports games. "Small side games" in handball. "Repeated sprint ability" in handball.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to introduce to the students the issue of diagnostics and assessment of sports performance in handball, present new trends in research aimed at sports games. Information about this course was translated to English within the project Internationalization of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Palacký University, Olomouc, No. CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0028, co-funded by the European Social Fund and the Government of the Czech Republic.
Upon completion of the course the student will have deeper knowledge of game performance in handball and preparation for a training unit, practical skills for handball training, the student will be capable of producing a fitness training plan in handball. The student will be capable of diagnosing the fitness condition of handball players.
Prerequisites
Successful completion of Sports specialization 4 - handball course.

Student performance, Analysis of linguistic, Didactic Test, Dialog, Systematic Observation of Student, Seminar Work

Active participation in seminars, seminar paper, didactic presentation, translation from English.
