Course content
|
Specific exercises for the perception of individual musical components (tempo, measure, rhythm, dynamics, melody, character of a musical composition, musical form). Principles of correct posture in different starting positions. Specific variants of posture in specific dances, correct posture in paired dances. Swing-guided motion, eighth-wave motion, complex motion. Association of individual variants of movements into choreographic sequences. Rhythm of movement. Application of rhythmic variants in specific dances. Walking, running, hopping, jumping, dancing steps in various spatial solutions, also with tempo, rhythmic, dynamic variations. Spatial exercises - straight, oblique directions, curves, their combinations. Musical games, whether or not creatively charged, group dances, dance games. Basic folk, ballroom dances and dance dances.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is basic musical movement preparation - understanding and mastering the basic principles of the relationship between movement and music. Movement training aimed at controlling the positions and movements of individual parts of the body in accordance with the principles of proper posture and in accordance with the technical and aesthetic requirements applicable to gymnastic movement and dance. The course contributes to students of basic theoretical and practical skills in the field of folk, sport dance and counter-dance. It introduces selected typical national dances of other nations and current trends in dance.
Students are able to lead qualified teaching of gymnastic movement with music and dance.

Student performance, Analysis of linguistic, Systematic Observation of Student, Seminar Work
Active participation in classes, methodological presentation, 100% attendance. Compulsory set of exercises on music accompaniment.
