Learning outcomes
This is the third trimestre of a 4-trimester course of Spanish for students with the knowledge of Spanish at A1 level. All the communication skills are practiced in the course: speaking, reading, listening and writing, so that students are able to use not only general language, but also speak about the topics related to their main field of study.
Students further develop their basic skills and competences related to language communication (speaking, listening, reading and writing) up to the level A2. They can understand the most common set phrases and vocabulary related to areas that concern them directly. They can read short simple texts and find specific predictable information. They are oriented in simple everyday materials. They can communicate in simple, often repetitive situations with predictable exchange of information about familiar themes and activities.
Prerequisites
Course for students who have already studied Spanish and their knowledge corresponds to the level A1 (e. g. on the basis of the textbooks Nuevo Ven 1 or Aula internacional 1). Reading, pronunciation, the most basic grammar (articles, gender, basic differentiation of ser-estar-hay, present tense and préterito perfecto) and vocabulary do not cause problems. The course will be taught mainly in Spanish.
