Course content
25. - 27. unit of the textbook. Working with additional authentic texts for reading and listening comprehension. Topics and grammar of the textbook Lessons 25 - 27: Lesson 25: ALT UND JUNG: Personen beschreiben, Informationen am Telefon erfragen, Vorteile und Nachteile nennen. (Grammatik: Präpositionen mit Akkusativ, indirekter Fragesatz, dafür dagegen sprechen/sein) Lesson 26: Was KANN ICH FÜR SIE TUN? Zimmer reservieren, sich beschweren, vergleichen und loben, sich telefonisch bewerben, Reiseprospekt verstehen. (Grammatik: Maskuline Nomen mit n-Deklination, Komparation, Deklination von komparierten Adjektiven) Lesson 27: MAN IST, WAS MAN ISST: über Essgewohnheiten sprechen, Tipps für gesunde Ernährung verstehen, im Restaurant bestellen und bezahlen, Ratschläge geben. (Grammatik: Infinitivgruppen mit zu, Nebensatz mit "obwohl", Wortbildung - Nomen bilden Current short videos and written texts from the Internet.

Learning outcomes
The first semester of a four-semester course in German for intermediate students without focus on their major. Its aim is to improve command of German on presumed B2 level of Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Improving of all types of language skills - perceptive (reading, listening) - productive (performance, interaction)
developer language skills: - speaking (interaktion, performance) - listening comprehension - reading comprehension - writing After successful completion of the course, the students will achieve target level of B1 of Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Prerequisites
Input language level - lower intermediate and intermediate: A2/B1. The course is not designated for beginners! In case of greater number of applicants than possible, the priority will be given to students with obligatory foreign language classes. Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Analysis of linguistic, Didactic Test

Credit requirements: - activeness in the class - regular attendance - max. two absences allowed (to do homework and preparation necessary) - pass all continuous tests to each lesson (in the other case the students must write and pass complete credit test) - preparation and homework - cooperation with other students Students can obtain the credit not later than by the end of the examination period of the semester they registered for this course.
