INTRODUCTION- alphabet, pronunciation, accent U1 First contacts Grammar and Lesson Subject pronouns: I, you, you; Be, have, call (to singular); The determinative article: the, the; Adjectives of nationality (to the singular); Questioning adverts: how, where, what; Ask for the phone number and address and answer; Ask to repeat information; Cardinal numbers from 0 to 20 U2 I and the others Grammar and Lesson Regular verbs in are; Being, having, staying and doing; The noun (to the singular); Denial; The determinative article (to the singular); the indefinite article; this; The prepositions: a, in, of; The questioning particles: who, who, where, how many; Ask and say eta; Cardinal numbers up to 100 U3 Good appetite! Learning outcomes
The first semester of a two-semester course in Italian language for students of "The History of Art and the Theory of Art". Cours of general language (seeks to improve knowledge of grammatical structures and vocabulary resulting in better communication skills). After successful completion of the whole IDU course , the students will achieve target level of B1/B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Comprehensive development of all language skills: speaking, listening comprehension, reading, writing. After successful completion of the whole NVUP course, the students will achieve target level of A2/B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Prerequisites
The course is primarily designated for complete beginners students of History of Art.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Written exam

Credit - requirements for granting certification: 1.Course attendance - maximum of 2 absences. Absence from the class is in no case a reason for being unprepared in the following seminar. 2.Active participation in the classes, regular home preparation, written home assignments/credit works. 3.Passing so-called "final test" at the end of the semester (passing level always 75%).
