Course content
Students talk about the topics covered in both coursebooks Navigate Intermediate and Navigate Upper-intermediate. Students describe their area of studies. Students analyse texts on psychology.

Learning outcomes
The examination will test the students' knowledge and skills acquired in the courses APSS1 - APSS4. By attending the four-term course and passing the exam students reach the B2 level as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Students are able to read, understand and analyse a subject-related text as well as being able to express themselves in the field of their studies. By attending the four-term course and passing the exam students reach B2 level as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Prerequisites
This is meant for the students who want to take an exam at the end of the four-semester Intermediate English course. The exam can be taken on condition that the student has sucessfully passed all the four semesters of the course. The students will register for APSSZ in STAG at the beginning of the semester along with other courses. Knowledge of English as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages - level B2.

Assessment methods and criteria
Mark, Oral exam, Analysis of linguistic

Students have successfully completed courses APSS 1 - APSS 4. In the exam, students talk about the topics covered in the coursebooks. Students are able to present their area of studies as well as being able to use the target vocabulary. Students analyse a text on psychology of their own choice (10 pages in length) and write a summary of the text (1,5-2 pages, spacing 1,5). Students answer questions related to the text.
