Course content
The oral exam - the topics covered in the courses AGS1 and AGS2: Nouns (countable x uncountable, articles with common and proper nouns) Pronouns Adjectives (order, comparison) Adverbs (position) Verbs (tenses, finite x non-finite verbs) Modal verbs Phrasal verbs Word order Questions Subordinate clauses (nominal, relative, adverbial) Conditional clauses (mixed conditionals) Reported speech Passive voice

Learning outcomes
The examination will test students' knowledge acquired in the courses AGS1 and AGS2. By attending the two-term course and passing the exam students know the grammar at level B2 as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Students will learn how and why we use certain grammatical structures covered in AGS1 and AGS2 courses. At the end of the course, they should be much more confident and competent in their understanding and use of English grammar. By attending the two-term course and passing the exam, students will cover all the B2 level grammar as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Prerequisites
Students successfully completed the courses AGS1 and AGS2. Students must register for AGSZ in STAG at the beginning of the semester along with other courses. Knowledge of English grammar as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages - level B2.

Assessment methods and criteria
Mark, Oral exam

The student will have successfully completed the courses AGS1 and AGS2. The students will register for AGSZ in STAG at the beginning of the semester along with other courses. The oral exam will be in the form of a dialogue about the topics covered in the courses AGS1 and AGS2. One part of the exam will also be a text analysis focusing on different grammatical structures and their uses.
