Course content
The course deals with selected basic grammatical phenomena, namely the present simple, continuous, past simple and present perfect simple and continuous. It also focuses on action and action verbs and expressing the future. The course also includes vocabulary from the field of food, family, adjectives of personality, money. It is also engaged in practicing correct pronunciation of English sounds and word and sentence stress.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook)
Learning outcomes
By the end of the course, the students will have achieved the knowledge of target grammar and vocabulary, as well as pronunciation from the assigned lessons of the textbook.

Prerequisites
Active knowledge of English.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam

- carrying out all tasks assigned by the teacher - active lesson participation - active self-study - hand in 1 piece of writing; topics and formats will be specified by the teacher - passing the credit test (the passing line for the test is 70%)
