Course content
This subject arose from a project CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0138 Modularization and psychological education at Palacky University in Olomouc through innovation and links between economic and psychological study programs. 1. Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to introduce the concept of sustainability to students. Issues and questions of sustainable consumption and life are important not only for so-called "green" consumers, but all people round the world. The financial crisis, social and environmental problems are increasing sense of responsibility of consumers and together changing economic and business environment. Customers use their money for buying more goods with value beyond the financial value, and this is helping sustainable business to grow. During the study will be introduced three levels of sustainable business - economic level, social and environmental. On the basis of case studies will be discussed sustainable business practices, new trends and specifics of the different business sectors, consumption and overconsumption, sources in business, global challenges and sustainability management. Students will be able to apply the course knowledge into practice in enterprises and propose options for improving sustainable business in the country.

In the beginning of the course students choose a semester work on the topic Reflections on the particular operation and design of measures for sustainable business. The course ends with a written credit and exam. For successful completion of the test, student must obtain at least 75% of the possible points. The granting of credit is also subject to active participation in the teaching and delivery of seminar work, on a date to be determined in the first class. If the student fails in any part of the requirements for completion of the course, he will enter an appropriate replacement work. They are allowed two absences in the classroom. The study includes the use of e-learning environment Moodle. Students in Moodle logs as directed by the www.kae.cz
