The aim is to become familiar with the principles of scientific communication and to develop scientific work skills in the following areas: Research projects, their preparation, and management Logistics of field data collection Legal aspects of medical research Ethical aspects of research studies The role and activities of ethics committees Financial and administrative management of research projects Literature search, working with literature databases, literature review Structure of a scientific paper The publication process and communication with scientific journals Presentation of scientific results (poster, lecture, press release) Peer review of scientific work
