Learning outcomes
|
Students will perfect their general English competency; they will broaden their knowledge of grammar at upper-intermediate level with an insight into the specific features of medical English; they will master basic medical terminology; they will be able to read, understand and translate medical texts in English.
Students will gain background for further usage of English in their professional career.

Prerequisites
|
Minimal English language ability at level A2/B1 - pre-intermediate. Completed HUM/FTA20.

Written exam, Student performance, Analysis of linguistic, Written exam
Attendance (80%) and active participation in seminars, tests. Final written exam.
