Students will learn to alleviate the disease symptoms and patients' fears at the end of life. Students will be introduced to the concept of teamwork, which means the cooperation of the attending physician, palliative care physician, social worker, chaplain, psychologist, and the patient's family. The course will teach students to identify the preferences and wishes of patients. Students will get to know mobile hospice care and its benefits.
