Content of the course Rehabilitation propedeutics provides the basic knowledge of clinical aspects of movement as a function and its importance in an improvement of an overall patient´s state. The main aim is to prepare the students for a clinical practice in the sense of an approach to the patient. The course creates basic skills and acquires knowledge of passive and active movement, get familiar with the principles of manipulation with a patient, rules of verticalization and with the possibilities of repositioning. Students get acquainted with techniques of improving a function of musculoskeletal system and general condition exercise applicable during hospitalization.
Student will acquire the theoretical and practical knowledge and will learn the basics of manipulation with a patient and his support during verticalization.

Attendance and Participation in Class: The student is required to actively participate in class and complete all pre-assigned tasks and requirements. Attendance is mandatory for 100% of the course sessions. Absences are allowed only for serious reasons, must be properly excused and must be compensated according to instructions. Credit Requirements: During the semester, the student will be asked quick questions to demonstrate knowledge of the previous lesson. At the end of the semester, the student will take a multiple-choice theory test covering the course material. A minimum score of 70 % is required. Final Examination: Questions for the practical examination will be given in advance, each student will take 2 questions. All students have three attempts to pass the practical exam.
