Course content
The course will provide the doctoral students with the ability to work with on-line resource in severeal research areas and will teach them how to use the resources for their work.

  • Attendace - 6 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The main aim of the course is to present on-line research resourses which are free or are prepaid by the Palacký University and can be used by the doctoral students.
The students have learned: - to define the research topic of their work and to make a research formula - the strategies of electronic research - evaluation of information found - how to use the most important on-line resources - how to work with on-line catalogues - how to save and export information found - how to work with personal bibliographical database - how and when to quote - how to know predatory journals - what's open access
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of work on computer and ability to consider information in a critical way.
