Learning outcomes
|
Students learn about the metabolism of the drugs, about cytochromes P450 which are responsible for metabolism of more than three fourth of drugs with known metabolic pathways. Students should be familiar also with the drug interactions at the level of drug metabolism (competition, inhibition or induction of P450 enzymes).
Students should be familiar with the metabolism and interaction of the main groups of drugs.
