Topics of lectures: 1.Pharmacology, clinical pharmacology and their contents. Pharmacopoeia, drug. Drug names, pharmaceutical forms, drug delivery methods. General pharmacology - pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics. 2.An overview of drugs affecting the vegetative nervous system. 3.Pain and the possibility of its pharmacological influence. 4.Basics of pharmacology of drugs affecting the heart and blood vessels. 5.Fundamentals of pharmacology of drugs affecting hemocoagulation. 6.Medicines used in respiratory diseases. GIT drugs. 7.Overview of antibiotics and chemotherapeutics. 8.Pharmacology basics of drugs and substances used in physiotherapy - antirheumatics, antiphlogistics, muscle relaxant.

The student will gain knowledge about the sources of information concerning the use of basic medicinal products in therapy. He will acquire basic principles of general pharmacology, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics. The student will gain basic knowledge about medicine handling and the basic information on major drug groups
The student will be able to understand the administered substances and medicinal products such as antirheumatics, antiphlogistics, muscle relaxant and locally applied preparations used in rehabilitation.
