Course content
1. The principle of creating a digital and chemical photographic image 2. Processing a digital image and chemical film 3. Digital image parameters 4. Processing the RAW format 5. Issues of HDR photography 6. Special photographic procedures in post-processing (line restoration, etc.) 7. Types of devices, lenses and photographic filters 8. Methods of measuring light, light sources 9. Exposure modes of digital devices 10.-13. Practical demonstrations and photography in the field

Learning outcomes
The aim is to understand the basic functions of a camera and, above all, to master the basics of photographing two-dimensional and three-dimensional works (paintings, reliefs, sculptures, architectural interiors and exteriors). The second, equally important goal is to master the post-processing of digital photography, i.e., to understand the basic processes involved in processing a digital image.
Students will gain a basic understanding of digital and chemical photographic techniques, with special attention to the needs of visual documentation of art historical artifacts.

There are no special requirements for enrollment in the course.
