Course content
- Approaching the relationship between a solicitor and a client and setting up mutual communication - Presentation of basic practical principles for negotiating with a counterparty - Real testing of various negotiation techniques and negotiation on model situations from legal practice

Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
The course should enable students to: - become familiar with the possibilities of real legal negotiation in various model situations from common legal practice, - to learn to perceive each negotiating situation in its context, the correct consideration of which can substantially help to achieve the objective, - practically test the limits and limits of some legal and non-legal arguments to achieve a successful negotiation outcome, - learn flexibility in pursuing a goal where it is possible or not. it is necessary to achieve the result only in different ways of negotiation and their combinations. - Correct recognition of the achievable objective and effective efforts to achieve the maximum possible, including a beneficial compromise
negotiating skills in different contexts, the ability to flex the goal.
Prerequisites
The completion of this course is not conditioned upon completion of any other courses.

Student performance

Assessment is based on student's participation and activity in the seminar, including preparation for the seminar.
