Learning outcomes
It is a practical optional course based on learning from the experience of completed legal internship at the subject performing this practice in the Czech Republic. The specialization and focus of the subject providing the internship chosen by the student. The internship does not have to be done continuously. It is possible to complete the internship during the whole year, ie also during the summer holidays, however, it can always be started only after the enrollment of the student in the course (ie it is not possible to retrospectively recognize already completed internship). The agreement on the professional internship is concluded by the student himself, the faculty provides the necessary cooperation in this process (issues recommendations, certificates of study, etc.). If the student wants to do the internship elsewhere, it is necessary that it be done within the requirements formulated in the Standards of internships. Examples of where this course can be taken are courts, law firms, offices, notaries, executors, legal departments of companies, etc. In case of doubt, contact the guarantor of the course for consultation.
The student will gain knowledge about the real functioning of the legal profession on the basis of practical activities, acquire skills associated with the legal profession, get acquainted with the broader relationships of the legal profession within the legal system.

Student performance

The student is obliged to follow the requirements for practice formulated in the Standards of Internships published on the website of the Internships Department of the CCLE. Relevant evaluation forms are available for download on this page: https://www.pf.upol.cz/studenti/studium/predpisy-a-formulare/. Within the course, the student completes 80 hours of legal practice.
