Assessment methods and criteria

Student performance
The student, under the guidance of his/her supervisor, will prepare a proposal of 8 topics for the State Doctoral Examination, which the supervisor will submit to the Subject-area Board. In doing so, they follow the following recommendations: - The topics are formulated by each student according to his/her area of expertise, but in such a way that they do not overlap with the dissertation topic and do not overlap with each other. - Topics are narrowly specified, not general. - For each topic, they will attach the following references for study: -- 3-5 items depending on the amount of literature on the topic; -- a total of approximately 100 pages for each topic (relevant chapters indicated for books); -- literature includes foreign and domestic publications, books and scholarly articles; -- a good knowledge of the literature is expected; the student will be tested on it. - If the topics are approved before applying for the rigorous procedure for the ThLic. degree, the student may propose 4 of these topics to the rigorous procedure supervisor as topics for the rigorous examination. However, all 8 topics will be examined in the State Doctoral Examination.
