Course content
Students are first informed about what a dispute is and how it works. They are then introduced to the names of potential supervisors and the proposed topics. They are subsequently divided into groups according to their chosen topic and supervisor, and proceed in accordance with the instructions provided by their respective supervisor in the distance learning support material.

Prerequisites
Approved thesis proposal. The proposal must be submitted and approved by the date specified in the LMS.

Assessment methods and criteria

The defence lasts approximately 30 minutes and is usually conducted online. Students are therefore required to ensure they have a reliable internet connection. Failure to do so will result in their exclusion from the examination. The oral presentation is based on an outline submitted in advance, which includes a declaration of honour regarding the use of AI during preparation; students may also use their own presentation. A physical room from which the public can watch the defence is also designated in advance of the date of the event.
