Aula Internacional Plus 4 (lessons 1-3) + study materials available at Moodle Unidad 1: Buenas noticias (grammar: narrative in the past, passive voice, impersonal constructions; vocabulary: information transfer, media, politics and history) Unidad 2: Y tú que opinas (grammar: expressing opinion, conditions, organization of discourse; vocabulary: leisure, tourism, description of a town or village) Unidad 3: Yo nunca lo haría (grammar: giving advice, expressing wishes, opinions, ignorance, conditions; vocabulary: sports, traditions, fear and phobias)

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the introductory semester is to consolidate previously acquired language skills in Spanish (grammar, vocabulary) and language skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing), to further develop them and progress towards B1+ level of CEFR.
Completing this course, students will master the subject matter within the scope of lessons 1-3 of the textbook Aula Internacional Plus 4 (see Contents). At the end of the course (SJ5 to SJ6), students will be able to demonstrate the achievement of Spanish at B1+ level according to CEFR.

Prerequisites
|
Knowledge of Spanish at B1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference is expected. This knowledge includes all language skills (reading, listening, writing and speaking). The prerequisites include knowledge of vocabulary and grammar at a given level. Prior to enrollment, we recommend that students check their level on freely available tests on the Internet ("prueba de nivel").
