Course content
|
The oral exam will be in a dialogue form and will cover the topics dealt with in the courses IJ1 - IJ4. The exam has three parts: reading and translation, situational dialogue, dialogue about one of the topics covered in the courses IJ1-IJ4.

Learning outcomes
|
The final exam checks if students' language skills are at the A2 level after passing the four-semester course IJ1-IJ4. Passing the four semesters is the basic prerequisite for registering for the exam. The exam consists of the written and oral part and is based on the Italiano plus. Imparare l´italiano per studiare in italiano. Livello A1- A2 coursebook. The written part focuses on listening, reading comprehension and writing, it also checks the grammar and vocabulary related to the units done in the coursebook. Employing the form of a monologue and dialogue, the oral part checks students' speaking skills on the required level in both general language and subject-related language. Only students who have successfully passed the written test can do the oral part.
Student can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment). Can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. Can describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.

The student has successfully completed all semesters of the course.

The student will have successfully completed the courses IJ1-IJ4 The students will register for IJZ1 in STAG at the beginning of the semester along with other courses. The student will translate the text assigned by the teacher at the beginning of the semester.
