Learning outcomes
|
In this semester students will do another five units (6-10) from the English File Intermediate Plus coursebook, which again develop their communication abilities and include activities related to all four language skills. More focus will be put on productive writing and speaking skills in this semester. A systematic development of students' ability to communicate in their study field language is also part of the course. It is necessary to enroll in CJV/AJ6 and the exam CJV/AJZ5 in the summer semester.
After passing the course students will be able to use the grammar (forming questions, question types, reported speech, conditional clauses, passive voice, articles) and vocabulary (units 6-10 of the coursebook) well. At the end of the whole course (AJ5-AJ6) they will be able to prove that their English skills are on level B1+ according to the Common European Framework of Reference.
