Learning outcomes
Improving the knowledge of basic Czech and making students familiar with the basic medical terminology; learning to read and understand simple medical texts in the Czech language.
Students will be able to use Czech during their studies when communicating with patients.

Assessment methods and criteria
Mark, Oral exam, Written exam, Analysis of linguistic, Dialog, Systematic Observation of Student

Credit Students who want to meet the credit requirements must take a written test and have a minimum score of 66%. They are expected to participate actively in class, complete homework assignments and perform successfully on progress tests. Students are also required to attend their classes regularly. Exam Students who want to meet the Czech language final exam requirements must sit an oral test consisting of two parts: 1. Reading and translating a simple written text on the topics covered in the course. 2. Case history taking
