Acquisition of basic communication strategies, language structures and vocabulary in order to speak the language in everyday life situations; making students familiar with basic linguistic terminology and with the basic grammar structure of the Czech language.
Students will be able to use Czech during their studies when communicating with patients.

Students who want to meet the credit requirements must take a final written test and have a minimum score of 66%. They are expected to participate actively in class, complete homework assignments and perform successfully on practice tests. Students are also required to attend class regularly.
