Course content
Focus primarily on communication in the Czech language in the medical environment. Practicing communication skills through dialogues, group discussions, or skits. Expanding vocabulary and applying skills gained in the obligatory courses. new useful phrases. Themes: introduction, taking history, case studies from a variety of specialized fields (Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Diabetology, Endocrinology, Surgery, Orthopaedics and Traumatology, Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Paediatrics, Otorthinolaryngology, Pneumology, Urology, Oncology, Dermatology, Infectious Diseases, Ophtalmonology, Psychiatry), practicing model situations, role playing.

Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Observation, Projection (static, dynamic), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
Improving communication skills in Czech in medical practice. Gaining confidence when communicating with patients and colleagues in Czech.
Students will be prepared to communicate in Czech in the medical environment.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of the Czech language at B1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Knowedge acquired in the Czech 1-3 courses.

Assessment methods and criteria
Mark, Oral exam, Written exam, Student performance, Analysis of linguistic, Systematic Observation of Student

Active participation in seminars. Regular attendance. Successful completion of the credit.
