Update of cardiac surgery methods: surgical treatment of atrial fibrillation, miniinvasive cardiac surgery methods, alternative conduits for cardiac revascularization. New possibilities of the use of cardiopulmonary bypass.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of our lectures is to give the latest summary information about the whole range of cardiac surgey focusing on - surgical treatment of ischemic heart and valvular disease including basoval information about the most frequent congenital heart diseases. We will give also the latest knowledge concerning of emergent situations in cardiac surgery - heart injuries, cardiac tamponade and aortic dissection.
Passing the lectures students will receive the information concerning of the current possibilities of surgical treatment of heart diseases.
