Aim of this course is demonstration of main taxonomic groups of cultivated trees and shrubs in Czechia. This course is practical and it focuses on demonstration of living plant species and their key characteristics. During 3 day-long excursions, we will visit 3 botanic gardens or arboreta in the region of Moravia and Silesia and we will demonstrate common as well as rare woody species. The aim is to demonstrate species diversity and morphological variation of cultivated trees and shrubs in broader context.
