Course content
Credits are awarded for active participation in the Summer School of Chinese Studies organized by the project CHINET and electronic submission of workshop evaluation (feedback) about 500 words. Schedule of summer school will be announced during the semester. The summer schools are taught in Czech, English or Chinese and are led by invited foreign or local experts in one thematic area (1. Cultural Anthropology of China, 2. Modern China, 3. Chinese Literature, 4. Chinese Linguistics, 5. Chinese History and Religion).

Learning outcomes
The aim of the Summer School of Chinese Studies is to acquaint students with the latest trends in Chinese Studies (themes: 1. Cultural Anthropology of China, 2. Modern China, 3. Chinese literature, 4. Chinese Linguistics, 5. Chinese History and Religion).
Student should get the knowledge of latest development and trends in Chinese Studies (1. Cultural Anthropology of China, 2. Modern China, 3. Chinese Literature, 4. Chinese Linguistics, 5. Chinese History and Religion).
Prerequisites
The Summer School of Chinese Studies is recommended for all students of Chinese Philology or Palacky University who want to expand their horizons on the latest research trends in the field of Chinese studies.

Assessment methods and criteria
Final Report

The summer school is recommended for all students of Chinese Philology or Palacky University who want to expand their horizons on the latest research trends in the field of Chinese studies. Credit requirements: active participation in the Summer School and submission of electronic evaluation (around 500 words).
