Course content
Students who plan to attend the subject Practice in the commercial sector, please contact the project coordinator. After a short interview coordinator finds out student's preferred area of practice and will identify suitable employer. The required length of practice and possible dates will be arranged and confirmed by the employer. Before starting the practice there will be defined aims, outputs, and rules of practice.

Learning outcomes
Students can complete practice in the commercial sector in the range of at least 4 weeks. Experience in the commercial sector is ensured thanks to the project Čínština pro praxi (Reg. No. CZ.1.07/2.2.00/15.0289) which helps mediate contacts KAS FF UP students with practice and contributes to the optimization of graduates entering the labor market. Project Čínština pro praxi has a portfolio of cooperating organizations - potential employers and providers of practice for students (e.g. BAEST, ŠKODA AUTO, Czech-Chinese Society, SOZE, SUZ, Člověk v tísni etc.).

Prerequisites
The course is designed for students of Master study branch CHINESE PHILOLOGY.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance

After practice please deliver following documents }on prescribed forms): a) a report on the completed practice - description of activities and actions, the pros and cons, possible links to a studied area; b) timesheets; c) presentation - each student will present and evaluate his/her experience in the workshop (always once time in semester). Report on the completed practice, timesheets mus be authenticated by the signature (and stamp) of responsible employee/manager. This subject has been innovated by the project Innovation Chinese philology at Palacky University in Olomouc, with a focus on graduates in practice, reg CZ.1.07/2.2.00/15.0289. This project is co-financed by the European Social Fund and the state budget of the Czech Republic.
