Course content
Selected chapters from the history of the Qing dynasty. The analysis of 5 lectures given under the Chinese Studies Seminar 2.

Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Projection (static, dynamic)
  • Attendace - 2 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
In Fall 2012, lectures will be dedicated to Chinese folk religion. Based on materials ranging from mid-19th to mid-20th century.
The students not enrolled in Chinese Philology are not required to use Chinese characters.
Prerequisites
A good knowledge of Chinese geography is expected, the grasp of Chinese writing system is to the student´s advantage.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam, Systematic Observation of Student

Regular attendance, individual beforehand study of the secondary literature is required. Some titles will be discussed in class. A written survey in Czech of the lectures given under the Chinese Studies Seminar 2.
