Course content
The main aim of the seminar is to acquaint students with the work of several leading Chinese (PRC), the authors eighties and nineties (such as Mo Yan, Su Tong, Yu Hua and others). Emphasis will be placed mainly on the domestic preparation, mainly on the reading of selected works, which will be analyzed per hour with the active participation of students. In the second half of the semester, then concentrate on the comparison of original literary and film, which was filmed in this draft (for example, wives and concubines novel writer Su Tong and her motives filmed Hang high the red lanterns director Zhang Yimou, a film or live, which was filmed on motifs stejnojmeného novel by Yu Hua). Condition for the granting of credit will be awarded by reading literary works certified active participation in the classroom, and an essay comparing the student filmmaking and his artwork.
