Course content
Credits are awarded for active participation in the lectures of invited foreign or local experts in one thematic area (1. Cultural Anthropology of China, 2. Modern China, 3. Chinese Literature, 4. Chinese Linguistics, 5. Chinese History and Religion) and electronic submission of evaluation (feedback) to the visited lectures, each about 500 words. Schedule of lectures will be announced during the semester. The course is taught in Czech or English.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the seminar is to acquaint students with the latest trends in Chinese Studies (themes: 1. Cultural Anthropology of China, 2. Modern China, 3. Chinese literature, 4. Chinese Linguistics, 5. Chinese History and Religion).
Student should get the knowledge of latest development and trends in Chinese Studies (1. Cultural Anthropology of China, 2. Modern China, 3. Chinese Literature, 4. Chinese Linguistics, 5. Chinese History and Religion).
Prerequisites
The seminar is recommended for all students of Chinese Philology or Palacky University who want to expand their horizons on the latest research trends in the field of Chinese studies.
