Course content
Credits are awarded for active participation in the lectures of invited foreign or local experts in one thematic area (1. Cultural Anthropology of China, 2. Modern China, 3. Chinese Literature, 4. Chinese Linguistics, 5. Chinese History and Religion) and electronic submission of evaluation (feedback) to the visited lectures, each about 500 words. Schedule of lectures will be announced during the semester. The course is taught in Czech or English.

Learning outcomes
TKurz je koncipován jako úvod do ujgurského jazyka, jeho psané podoby a fonetiky. Během prvního semestru se studenti naučí číst a psát a rovněž se seznámí se základními gramatickými jevy, základní slovní zásobou a některými konverzačními frázemi. Kurz bude vyučován ve spolupráci s rodilou mluvčí a bude vycházet z prvních šesti lekcí učebnice Teklimakan: a handbook of Modern Uyghur od Tarjei Enges?th, Mahire Yakup a Arienne Dwyer. První hodina proběhne 19. února 2020. Kredity budou uděleny za docházku, domácí úkoly a závěrečný test.
