Course content
Student successfully completes the course and gain credits by demonstrating literary translation from Chinese into Czech and publishing it in printed media or journal, which must be approved by the course teacher before its publishing. Student must be the only or the main translator. The literary text must be selected from text which have not been translated to Czech yet only and is to be discussed with the course teacher at the beginning of the semester.

The aim is to motivate students to do translations already during their studies and prepare them for a possible direction application after completing bachelor's or master's degree.

Prerequisites
Adequate level of Chinese language and basic experience in translation (course is recommended for bachelor students who have completed a course text YD1 and YD2, and for master students).
