Critical issues (stability, development, modernization and unity). 2nd Chinese politics - the legitimacy, effectiveness, ideology 3rd Liberalization and democratization, information and political control 4th Privatization, the role of law 5th Uneven economic development 6th Environment 7th Demographic trends and food self-sufficiency 8th Ethnic Minorities 9th Centrifugal tendencies (Tibet and Xinjiang) 10th Critical social problems (family, women, education and health) 11th Relations in the Taiwan Strait 12th Forecasts and risk

Learning outcomes
The course deals with social, political and economic problems of contemporary China, which is seen in terms of their historical causes, its manifestations, and current forecasts for the future. Before the registration of this course is recommended to visit China's policy of course 1 and 2 and strongly recommended to visit the course History of Modern China 1 and 2 Credits are awarded for attendance, presentation of short papers on current topics and concise essays. The course is divided into twelve themes which gradually bring students to the various problems facing the current China and which is also linked up student papers and work.
The course deals with social, political and economic problems of contemporary China, which is seen in terms of their historical causes, its manifestations, and current forecasts for the future.
Prerequisites
The course is designed for students of master degree field CHINESE PHILOLOGY. Potential candidates from among students and FF UP UP are welcome.
