Key learning outcomes The program aims to prepare specialists who can analyze and address theoretical and practical questions concerning global development and its environmental sustainability. It draws on the concept of sustainable development, integrates environmental-geographic and socio-economic perspectives, and also addresses civilizational risks. The Transition to Sustainability specialization focuses on societal transformation in the age of global change. An important part of the program is analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, working with scholarly sources, and preparing academic, strategic, and popularization texts. The program also reflects the current international agenda, particularly the Sustainable Development Goals defined by the United Nations, which address challenges at both global and local levels.
