        Course content
     | 
    
        Students will get knowledge of basic terminology, concepts and principles of ecology as a scientific discipline. All levels of organization will be treated: from individuals and populations to communities and ecosystems.  We will talk about the following: basic terminology and concepts of ecology; introduction to ecology of individuals, populations, communities, macroecology and biodiversity, ecosystems; applied ecology, conservation  Seminars will be devoted to reading primary literature and discussions of ecological research.
