The course aims to develop advanced competencies in strategic planning and evaluation of contemporary organic synthesis. The focus is placed on retrosynthetic thinking, strategic decision-making, catalytic methodology selection, and the integration of emerging technologies into molecular design.
Students learn to critically analyse and compare alternative synthetic solutions, evaluate literature at the highest level, and formulate independent strategies for solving complex synthetic problems. The course emphasizes intellectual skills required for independent scientific work rather than factual knowledge of individual synthetic methods.
