Course content
|
Cardiac arrest and resuscitation. Basic life support - open airway, arteficial ventilation, chest compressions. Organization of the Emergency Medical Servis. Shock states. Trauma - head trauma, crush injury, chest trauma, abdominal trauma, spinal cord injury, multisystem trauma. Heatstroke, burns, hypotermia, electrical injuries, drowning. Transport positions, fractures and treatment.

|
After participation in the course the students are able to provide basic and medical first aid using only protective device and basic equipment.

Students ought to have fundamental knowledges of human biology at the secondary education level.
