The course will cover the following topics: The importance of cognitive cartography Methods of cognitive cartography (questionnaire surveys, interviews, focus groups, action logging, screen recording, A/B testing, think-aloud protocols, psychophysiological measurements, UEQ) History and current state of eye-tracking research, principles of eye movement measurement Experimental design Areas of eye-tracking application Use of eye-tracking in cognitive cartography Preparation, execution, and evaluation of eye-tracking experiments (Tobii, GazePlotter) Statistical analysis of eye-tracking data, eye-tracking metrics Mobile eye-tracking glasses and analysis of real-world data
