Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
  • Attendace - 20 hours per semester
  • Homework for Teaching - 30 hours per semester
  • Semestral Work - 70 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Students will broaden their geographical knowledge about the region of Central Europe and further develop their skills in applying geographical methods in studying a selected region. Moreover they will excercise their skills in communicating in English about regional geographical topics.
Understanding geographical organization of Central Europe and discussing this topic in English.
Prerequisites
Knowledge within the extent of lectures on regional geography of Europe.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Dialog

Active participation in the seminar, engagment in the discussions and seminar presentation on a selected topic. Communication skills in English, intermediate level, are expected.
