Course content
|
Students will aim at the following issues: system of territorial units; literature and sources used in population and settlement geography; basic demographic characteristics; migration characteristics and population development; rank-size rule; functional classification of settlements; settlement geographical development of selected town. Issues will be practically applied on model areas.

The purpose of the seminar is a practical application of techniques and methods used in the geography of population and settlement.
